Kisco Senior Living is thrilled to announce the start of construction on the new high-rise addition to The Cardinal at North Hills. Construction is now officially underway, and a groundbreaking ceremony previously postponed by the COVID-19 pandemic recently took place to commemorate the occasion. The 18-story, 191-unit luxury senior living community addition is scheduled to welcome residents in Spring 2023.
The East Tower addition will be a distinctive addition to The Cardinal community, complete with its own unique amenities that complement those on the existing campus, including a beautiful dining room, bar and lounge area, along with casual outdoor seating in the courtyard and green space for alfresco dining. With the inclusion of 151 independent living and 40 assisted living apartments, residents will have the ability to choose between several one-, two-and three-bedroom floor plans, including club level and penthouse options. Many of the apartments in the continuing care retirement community will feature large balconies, and the penthouse apartments will offer from 2,062 to 3,511 square feet of living space.
In addition to the high-quality service and amenities provided by The Cardinal, including chef-prepared meals, award-winning wellness programs and concierge services, residents are only steps away from an abundance of shopping, restaurant and entertainment options, including the recently announced $1 billion multiphase North Hills Innovation District being developed by Kane Realty.
The Cardinal at North Hills is working with THW Design, an Atlanta-based architectural firm, for the design of the addition. A camera view for live construction updates can be viewed on The Cardinal website.
